__Q:__ Why the name Sogudi? %%% __A:__ "So far, so good." --> Safari Sogudi. ---- __Q:__ I lost, misplaced, or messed up the Sogudi window. How can I get it back? %%% __A:__ Using a text editor: #Edit the Safari's preferences file at "~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist" #Remove the lines: %%% ==<key>NSWindow Frame !SogudiShortcuts</key>== %%% ==<string> ''some numbers are here'' </string>== #Save the edited file, and the Sogudi window will revert to it's factory location. ---- __Q:__ I messed up my shortcuts, how can I go back to the default settings? %%% __A:__ Delete the file "~/Library/Application Support/!SogudiShortcuts.plist". Sogudi will then reload the factory set of shortcuts. ---- __Q:__ Installer doesn't work or gets an error. What can I do? %%% __A:__ Until a better installer is found, we are stuck with the one included with OSX. However, you can install the package manually: # Download this file: [Sogudi-0.3b-NI.tgz | http://www.atamadison.com/w/files/Sogudi-0.3b-NI.tgz]. # Download this file: [Sogudi-0.4b-NI.tgz | http://www.atamadison.com/w/files/Sogudi-0.4b-NI.tgz]. # Expand the file using !StuffIt Expander or a similar utility. # Follow the installation instructions in the !ReadMe file. ---- __Q:__ If I upgrade OS X versions, will I lose Sogudi or my shortcuts? %%% __A:__ Maybe, it depends on the upgrade version, method you use, phase of the moon, and if you keep your fingers crossed. To be safe: #Before upgrading, backup the !SogudiShortcuts.plist file inside the "~/Library/Application Support" folder. #After the upgrade, reinstall Sogudi and put your backup shortcuts file back. ---- __Q:__ Why doesn't the "Sogudi" item appear in the edit menu for my German / French / ... version of Safari. %%%__A:__ This has been fixed in version 0.4b! |
